General...
Our current brand new product MEMBRANE, a multi track sample sequencer, opens a new dimension in the audio-editing-software market under the heading 'elastic audio'.
With Membrane you can easily edit, adapt and change audio data like samples, loops and sequences in such an amazing way it was not possible yet. Your next music-production will go on without a hitch !
A great tool for musicians, producers and sounddesigners in the studio as well as in private sector.
...more precise...
Membrane analyzes and separates the most diverse physical characteristics out from the audio material, so it becomes freely variable and changable by the user. Aferwards Membrane resamples the audio material with the use of the changed characteristics.
By this method you can assign completely new characteristics to the material, which are played in real time and without destruction of the original input data.
The analyze and resample process is based on the model of physics. Thus the used algorithms are able to play the audio material in an absolutely realistic quality.
Similarly as modern graphics- and drawings programs Membrane works non-destructively. That means you can work on or cancel changes on the audio material at any time without quality loss.
Membrane can be used on the one hand as a stand-alone application, on the other hand it is mergable into existing sequencing software by supporting common interfaces such as ReWire and ASIO.
...and special
For instance, with MEMBRANE you can change a song pieces in such a way that an unskilled or unclean voice sounds like those of a professional singer. You can change the data arbitrarily in the time and formant correct in the pitch. Or after stretching notes you simply add a rising Vibrato and shorten a too long chanted portamento phrase.
You can change the timbre of vocals to let the singer sounds younger or taller, or, in the case of instruments, let them sounds smaller or more voluminous.
Furthermore you can modify characteristics like breathiness / airflow or adjust voice squeezing / humming, or adapt an unsynchronized song simply to the beat of a percussion sequence.
Of course instrumental lines, loops or sequences can be also worked on. With the automatic separation and the comfortable editor it is very simple to rearrange and process your audio material.
An extra feature is our specially developed 'Added Resonance Wavetable EXtraction' technology. This enables the user not to have to make a distinction between rhythmical or melodic audiodata, but to be able to use all parameters for any material.
Introduce yourselves, you have recorded a mixed sample-sequence with percussions and vocals from a sampler CD, and want to change ONLY the vocal part (NOT the percussion) in the pitch...
