J'ai écris il y a quelques jours un mail à Native instruments pour leur demander ce qu'il fallait faire lorsqu'on achète un produit d'occasion déjà enregistré par l'ex proprietaire...

Voici leur réponse (en Anglais) :
Hi Patrice,


please let the former user fill and sign the attached document. Send it back to us as a scan or by fax to +49 30 611035 35.
We will then delete the former user\'s registration and you can go ahead and register the product under your name.

I surrender all rights of use of the NI-product(s) to the buyer. Please delete my product registration so the new buyer can re-register it.

I affirm that I handed the original software over to the buyer and destroyed or deleted all copies of the Licence software as well as all pertinent documentations completely.

Apparement, une simple attestation sur l'honneur suffirait à reprendre les droits sur l'enregistrement du produit...
Un peu fastidieux mais finalement pas insurmontable à faire...

Oui, et c'est plutôt sympathique, si ça marche... C'est vraiment simple. M'étonnerait que ça se passe aussi bien chez Steinberg...
Par contre, en cas de vol, ça marche pareil pour le voleur alors, qui peut s'approprier un soft de cette façon... Sauf si le vol est déclaré auprès de Native, je suppose (et encore, c'est pas sûr).

J'espère bien que celui qui a le culot de piquer le soft va pas l'enregistrer !!
